Hey everybody, Jed of Drawfest reporting in here! How's everyone been doing -it's been a while, eh?
Message to Drawfest and #Christchurch
Drawfest Christchurch has been going incredibly strong over the last year, thanks to the breathtaking support, energy and all-round positivity of all of our loyal members Weekly devMeets, all sorts of themes & activities, drawing workshops, field trips, serious discussions and many, many social outings have made 2014 and the following months a truly exciting time for our group. Really demonstrating just the sheer quality of spirit amongst the wonderfully talented and lovely artists of Christchurch. So for that, I would just like to thank you all -you've all been outstanding, really!
Base of Operations?
This activity however, has shifted somewhat more into the social media space, what with our apparent transition to Facebook. A migration that happened gradually but surely over the second half of 2014.
If you have any thoughts about this, please speak up, and let us open a dialog in the comments below. This has been a discussion that I feel hasn't been explored deep enough;
Where would you prefer to see Drawfest Christchurch's primary base of operations, and what ideas do y'all have for the #Christchurch page? And, how might these two talking points relate to each other? I'd love to hear what you all think about this!
Gallery Updates!
Various snapshots detailing a fraction of our adventures and various exploits have been loaded into our gallery recently, and I would like to encourage all of you to submit all you can to our various gallery albums, just whenever you may have the chance
Thank you so much everybody! After our holiday break and a number of housekeeping events, Drawfest Christchurch is back in full swing -let us press onward into the New Year with gusto, and see where our efforts might take us!
